Andrew Palmer, Editor of BII Magazine recently visited us and had such a great time he wrote the following in his November issue.

'I'm obsessed with the concept of good pubs being the heart and soul of their communities.  I love different pubs for different reasons, but technically, the pub I couldn't fault, which does everything right and left me speechless with admiration was The Swan at Salford near Milton Keynes.  They're a well-funded business, but even so, their attention to detail is breathtaking and they are so creative.  And it is a 'pub'.  You can go there for just a pint of cask-ale and you're as welcome as well-heeled diners. '
